It is Now a 'Gwyneth Paltrow Fashion Trial'
Since the exposure of the Depp-Heard very public trial in 2022, celebrity court trials seem to be the new form of reality tv, but the ridiculousness of the Paltrow trial makes it that much more entertaining and captivating, which she is surely taking advantage of through her courtroom dress.
After colliding with a skier on Deer Valley’s Bandana Run back in 2016, Paltrow has been giving a testimony in a civil court case. The circumstances of the case, which began trial mid-March, are already pretty wild. The skier, Terry Sanderson, a retired optometrist is suing Gwyneth Paltrow for the accident, where he claims Paltrow ploughed into him, causing him damage like “permanent traumatic brain injury” and broken ribs, whereas Paltrow claims that Sanderson is the one that hit her and is exaggerating his harm.
But all legal arguments aside, we cannot help but notice her courtroom style and outrageously expensive outfits you’d expect from the Olsen Twins. In fact, on Day 1 of the trial, Paltrow wore pieces from the Olsen’s label, The Row, including a $3,500 coat and $1,700 turtleneck sweater, and paired it with Celine boots and RayBan glasses.
But Paltrow’s courtroom runway didn’t stop there. On the following days of the trial, she was seen wearing her own G. Label white cardigan worth around $600 styled with jewellery from Foundrea and a Celine bag. What better way to promote your own brand than at a very public courtroom trial?
The ultimate showstoppers have been on Day 4 and 5 of the trial with Paltrow showing up to the courtroom in a full Prada attire on Day 4 and an elegant gothic shirt paired with a long black skirt from The Row accented with thick Prada boots on Day 5. Gwenyth is showing a display of not-so-stealth wealth flexing and, honestly, we’re here for it.
Regardless of the outcome of the trial itself, Gwyneth Paltrow is pulling off some unnecessarily excellent courtroom looks, which isn’t even the craziest part of this trial.
